Reared by people who appreciated the built environment, I learned early on to analyze floor plans and imagine the life stories that would take place within a set of walls, whether a nightclub or a residential or commercial space. I loved architecture but found those interior volumes excited me most.
Studied Interior Design at an accredited four year school in my hometown - Lexington, Kentucky and then moved to New York City to study lighting design at Parsons. Interned at the world's biggest interior design firm, Gensler. Then spent almost a decade devoting myself to a trade-only custom lighting atelier, MODULIGHTOR. There I collaborated with the top interior designers and architects in New York, and with their amazing clients, the end-users.
For me the joy of being a creative person is that I get to share my skills, talent, background, education, and professional experience to
make the world a more FABULOUS place.
